Meadow Christmas Market

Join us for our first Christmas Market at Meadow, a weekend of good food, local makers, workshops, music and a little festive wandering around the courtyard.

There’s no need to book a table or reserve a place to visit the market. Just turn up, have a browse, grab something to eat and stay as long as you like.

We’ll have a mix of vintage and independent stalls across Meadow, alongside wreaths, locally grown Christmas trees and Tom Howe in his picture framing workshop.

A chance to find a few presents, discover something unusual and support some good local people along the way.

Eat & drink

Come hungry & thirsty.

Our outdoor grills will be fired up throughout the day, with breakfast buns in the morning followed by slow-cooked pork in Somerset cider and filled pittas for lunch.

There’ll also be our courtyard Soup Kitchen, sausage rolls, warm cheese scones and cakes from the café counter.

And to drink? Burrow Hill mulled cider, hot chocolate, Brazier coffee and all the usual Meadow favourites.

No table booking needed, find a spot, tuck in and enjoy.

Take part

Fancy making something yourself? We’ll have mini wreath-making and lino-printing workshops running across the weekend.

There’ll also be live music, a kids treasure hunt trail, sauna sessions and our Christmas raffle, so plenty of reasons to linger a little longer.

Choose your Christmas tree 🎄

The market also marks the opening of our new Meadow Christmas Tree Shop.

Our Nordmann Firs are being grown locally at Secret Valley Christmas Tree Farm on the Quantocks, just a few miles from Meadow.

You can simply choose a tree while you’re here, or pre-order your preferred size and then come to Meadow to pick the actual tree you want.

Pre-orders receive our early-bird price and a complimentary mulled cider or hot chocolate while choosing their tree. We’ll also deliver it free within Bishops Lydeard.

Numbers are limited in our first year, so pre-ordering is the best way to secure the size you’d like.

Just turn up

You don’t need a ticket for the market and there’s no need to book a café table.

Come for an hour or make a day of it. Browse the stalls, make something, warm up in the sauna, choose a tree and have a mulled cider.
