About the role:

As part of the FOH team, you’ll be the face of Meadow Café – greeting guests, taking orders, running dishes, making drinks, and helping ensure service runs smoothly day to day. If you have more experience, you may also support with shift leadership, team training, and ensuring high standards throughout the café.

Key responsibilities:

• Welcoming and seating guests

• Supporting with daily open/close routines (including cleaning duties)

• (If experienced) Assisting with training, shift management and stock

• 4-days/week, working Wednesday to Saturday (0800-1600). From March, opportunity for 5-days/week when we open for Sundays.

We’re currently looking for an experienced, passionate Head Barista & Team Lead to lead our coffee/drinks offering and to manage our Front-of-House team, ideally to start in February 2026.

About the role:

As Head Barista, you’ll set the tone for our front-of-house experience – from the first flat white of the morning to the last iced latte in the courtyard. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our coffee and drinks menu, train and lead a small team, and create a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere at the heart of the café.

We want someone who’s not just great with a steam wand – but who loves what coffee culture brings to a place like Meadow Café: connection, creativity, and everyday moments worth slowing down for.

What you’ll do:

• Craft exceptional espresso-based drinks, cold brews and seasonal specials

• Take pride in every drink – balancing consistency, speed and presentation

• Help develop our in-house drinks range

• Deliver friendly, attentive customer service every time

• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area

• Support and train junior baristas and café team

• Manage daily bar operations including open/close routines, cleaning and stock control

• Be the face of Meadow Café - greeting guests as they arrive and managing their whole experience with us
