Summer Feast by the Meadow with Ross Stacey

Following a series of memorable evenings together, we’re delighted to welcome Ross Stacey back to Meadow for another special supper club, this time set amongst the meadow itself, with long tables, summer sunshine, and a menu inspired by a journey from the hills of Piedmont to the Mediterranean coast of Marseille.

The evening begins with welcome drinks by the pond, after a gentle walk through the meadow and back to our long-table dining space, where Ross will be cooking over fire on the Somerset Grill Co grill and Sally Edwards will be creating a seasonal dessert to finish the feast.

Inspired by the flavours, ingredients and traditions found along the route from Monforte d’Alba to Marseille, the menu celebrates generous sharing, exceptional produce and the simple pleasure of eating outdoors with friends and strangers alike.

Expect focaccia with fresh pesto, Salami Piemontese, bagna càuda, venison tonnato, and a spectacular bouillabaisse featuring scallops, red mullet and langoustines in a rich tomato broth with summer vegetables.

As always, Ross brings a style of cooking shaped by years spent at the world-renowned River Café in London, alongside a wealth of travels, experiences and a deep respect for outstanding ingredients cooked simply and beautifully.

This promises to be a truly special midsummer evening, long tables, open skies, food cooked over fire, flowing conversation and a feast designed to celebrate the very best of the season.
