Something exciting is happening at the old Podshavers site. For years, Podshavers was a favourite local spot for fine dining and special occasions. It held a unique place in the hearts of many—and we’re proud to be building on that legacy. But as we step into a new chapter, it’s time to say a fond farewell to the Podshavers name. RIP to a great little restaurant, and a warm welcome to what comes next.

Under new ownership and a fresh vision, we’re reimagining the space into a vibrant, community-focused destination. Opening in Summer 2025, the new café will serve up great food, speciality coffee, artisan gelato and fresh bakes—all in a relaxed, family-friendly setting at the foot of the Quantocks.

But this is much more than a café.

Expect wood-fired pizza nights, live music, a proper kids’ play area, a calming yoga barn, and even a woodland sauna for moments of real escape. We’re also planning a series of seasonal events, creative workshops and off-grid cabins to stay and unwind.

This is a space to hang out, reconnect, and enjoy the slow pace of Somerset life. Whether you’re here for a morning flat white, a sunset pizza, or a weekend escape, the new era of this special site is all about great vibes and simple pleasures.
